Mahjong Scoring System

Mahjong includes various scoring methods, but the core principle is simple: the more complex your combination, the higher your points!

Basic Scoring Rules:

✔ Standard Win – Earns 10 points.
✔ Pong of Dragons or Winds – Awards 10-20 points.
✔ Pure Combination (all tiles of the same suit) – Grants 40-80 points.
✔ Secret Hands (e.g., all Pongs) – Worth 50+ points.
✔ Self-Drawn Win (winning without using a discarded tile) – Doubles your score (x2 multiplier).

Winning and Points Distribution

When a player wins, the remaining players either:

Pay points based on the winner’s hand value.

Follow a betting system, depending on the game variation.

Different Mahjong variations may adjust the exact points, but the ultimate goal remains: the player with the most valuable hand or the first to declare “Mahjong” wins! 🎉
